Program Overview

The Palmcroft Bible Institute offers a ministry-focused theological training program designed to prepare pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries for effective service.

​

The program consists of 60 credit units, made up of 3-credit courses taught over 10-week terms. Courses are organized to build biblical understanding, theological clarity, and ministry skill in a clear and intentional sequence.

​

All students complete a shared set of core classes that provide a foundation in Scripture, theology, apologetics, and ministry practice. Students then continue in one of three tracks: Pastoral, Leadership, or Missions. The program also includes electives that allow students to shape their training around their calling and ministry context.

​

Students complete their coursework while actively engaged in ministry, allowing learning to be applied in real-life settings. Courses are taught by experienced pastors and ministry leaders who bring both theological depth and practical ministry experience.

​

For those who are not pursuing a certificate or degree pathway, courses may also be taken under an audit option, allowing individuals to participate in learning without completing program requirements.

​

The Palmcroft Bible Institute is designed as a complete training pathway and also provides a foundation for those who choose to pursue further academic study through partner seminaries.

Program Cost

Degree Track

​

  • $75 per credit hour

  • Course materials are provided for degree-track students.

  • Required course books are purchased separately and are not included in the credit cost.

Audit Option

 

  • $25 per credit hour

  • Audit students participate in coursework without completing degree or certificate requirements.

  • Course materials are provided; required books are purchased separately.

Program Structure

The Palmcroft Bible Institute is a 60-unit program built around a shared theological core and three focused tracks.

  • Total Program Units: 60

  • Course Length: 10 weeks

  • Course Credit: 3 units per class

  • Total Courses: 20

Core Classes (Shared by All Students)

All students complete a common set of core courses that establish a strong foundation in Scripture, theology, and church life.

​

Core Units: 30 units (10 courses)​

 

These courses focus on:

​

  • Biblical theology and the unified story of Scripture

  • The life and teaching of Jesus and the apostles

  • The nature and mission of the church

  • Sound doctrine, spiritual formation, and obedience

  • Interpreting and applying Scripture within community

The core curriculum ensures that every graduate shares a common theological language, framework, and vision for the church.

Concentration Tracks

Students select one concentration track—Pastoral, Leadership, or Missions—as part of the 60-credit program

Pastoral Track: 18 units (6 courses)

​Designed for those preparing for vocational pastoral ministry and shepherding roles within the local church.
 

Emphasis includes:

​

  • Pastoral theology and shepherding

  • Preaching and teaching Scripture

  • Church leadership and governance

  • Counseling, care, and discipleship

  • Leading healthy, doctrinally grounded churches

Leadership Track:​ 18 units (6 courses)

Designed for ministry leaders, elders, directors, and those leading within church or ministry contexts.

​

Emphasis includes:

​

  • Biblical leadership principles

  • Team development and oversight

  • Decision-making and wisdom in ministry

  • Organizational leadership within the church

  • Developing and entrusting leaders

Missions Track: 18 units (6 courses)

​Designed for missionaries, church planters, and those serving cross-culturally or in frontier contexts.

​​

Emphasis includes:

​

  • Biblical foundations for mission

  • Church planting and apostolic patterns

  • Cultural engagement and contextualization

  • Gospel proclamation and discipleship

  • Sustainable, church-centered missions strategy

Electives

Each student completes elective coursework that allows for focused development or cross-track learning.

 

Elective Units: 12 units (4 courses)

Electives may be taken from any track and allow students to:

​

  • Deepen strengths

  • Explore secondary areas of interest

  • Customize training based on calling and context

Graduation Requirments

To graduate from the Palmcroft Institute, students must:

​

  • Complete 60 total units

  • Successfully finish all core courses

  • Complete one track concentration

  • Fulfill elective requirements

  • Remain actively involved in the life of the local church throughout the program
